A fabulous mix that adds drama to the garden
Bronze and Green fennel is a mix of the giant, anise-flavored perennial that adds drama to the garden with lacy fronds ranging in color from deep chocolate-bronze to green with all of the shades in between. The young stalks can be harvested for soups, herb butters or salads. Ornamentally, the fennel green and bronze foliage and flowers are a wonderful addition to bouquets. Fennel has also medicinal properties and is said to help alleviate digestion issues. Always consult a qualified herbal practitioner before using this plant medicinally or a qualified aromatherapist if using its essential oil, especially if pregnant.
