A beautifully colored tomato for container growing

Dwarf Firebird Sweet is a mid to late season regular leaf dwarf tomato from the DWARF TOMATO PROJECT and originated from a cross between Dwarf Wild Fred and Beauty King made by Vince Lavallo in 2011 and named Beauty. This variety produces heavy yields of medium sized smooth oblate pink tomatoes with vertical golden stripes that can weigh between 150-300 g. The tomato has firm flesh with a remarkable rich flavor, well balanced, sweet, very few seeds and many culinary uses. This variety has been pledged to the OSSI (Open Source Seed Initiative) in 2017.

The OSSI is working to maintain fair and open access to plant genetic diversity worldwide and ensuring freedom to use these resources for farmers, gardeners, breeders, and communities of this and future generations. Free the Seed!
