Good tomato for container growing
Dwarf Sweet Sue Tomato is a very recent variety, developed from 2006 to 2012 from the crossing of "Green Giant" and "Golden Dwarf Champion", realized as part of the "Dwarf Tomato Project", by Patrina Nuske Petit in 2005 and pledged to the Open-seeds initiative (OSSI). Presented to the public in 2012. Compact plant with potato foliage that can reach 1.5 m. The plant produces round to oblate medium sized fruit, weighing from 80 to 200 g that ripen to bright yellow with a pink blossom end blush. Full and juicy flesh with a sweet and outstanding well balanced and sweet flavour. This variety is quite prolific. It is recommended to support this variety using several stems. It can also be grown in containers but it may affect the yield and size of the fruits.

Sowing and cultivation: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Sow 1/16 inch deep at soil temperature of 21C. Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle when about 20 cm tall. Plant out 45 cm apart in warm and sunny spot. It is advised to grow tomatoes in a greenhouse or polytunnel.
