A cheeky champion tomato

Dwarf Chocolate Champion is another variety of the DWARF TOMATO PROJECT. It is a regular leaf mid-season dwarf tomato variety that produces an abundance of oblate medium fruit that ripen to a brick red chocolate hue. It originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between Golden Dwarf Champion and Cherokee Chocolate and named Cheeky. The flavor is well balanced and mild. Chocolate Champion was selected and named by Ray South. This variety has been pledged to the OSSI (Open Source Seed Initiative).

The OSSI is working to maintain fair and open access to plant genetic diversity worldwide and ensuring freedom to use these resources for farmers, gardeners, breeders, and communities of this and future generations. Free the Seed!
