An early soybean variety
Envy is an early soybean variety well suited for short season climates. Plants can reach 60 cm tall with pods containing 2 to 3 green seeds. Beans can be eaten fresh or dried. Similar to edamame and a popular snack in Japan. Envy beans have a sweet nutty flavour.

Sowing and cultivation: Soybeans can be sown indoors or outdoors, in May or June. The easiest is to sow directly outdoors once the soil has warmed up in late spring ideally in a greenhouse.Sow the seeds 5cm deep, 15 cm apart, in rows 45 cm apart.Water gently, and keep at a temperature of 18–20°C. Keep well watered.
