Dwarf Fred’s Tie Dye is another variety from the DWARF TOMATO PROJECT created by Vince Lavallo from a cross between Dwarf Wild Fred (a Dwarf project release from 2010) and Pink Berkeley Tie Dye and named Messy.  Dwarf Fred Tie Dye is a regular leaf dwarf variety that produces good yields of oblate medium large fruits that ripen to a dusky rose purple hue with green and gold vertical stripes. The flavor is intense and well balanced. This variety has been pledged to the OSSI (Open Source Seed Initiative). Seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland.

The OSSI is working to maintain fair and open access to plant genetic diversity worldwide and ensuring freedom to use these resources for farmers, gardeners, breeders, and communities of this and future generations. Free the Seed!
