Shipping policy

We ship mainly to Ireland and Northern Ireland. Contact us if any questions at info@sowdiverse.ie. We unfortunately cannot ship to Europe mainland or the UK since Brexit or to the United States.

When you buy on our website, you accept automatically our terms and conditions, our terms of services, refund and shipping policies. Contact us if any questions at info@sowdiverse.ie

Please NOTE: We have a minimum order value policy of 15 euros excluding shipping  to activate shipping. We will only ship if the order has a minimum value of 15€ excluding shipping. We do not provide phytosanitary certificates. The buyer is responsible for checking any custom or legal requirements when buying seeds from us. For all varieties, we may only sell between 1 and 3 packets of that variety per order due to the scarcity of the variety or the amount of seeds we have in stock.

We only sell to amateur gardeners or community or private gardens for their private use. We do not sell to any type of business. commercial entity or reseller.

The customer is responsible for entering the correct and complete shipping and billing address when placing the order. We cannot be held responsible if the shipping or billing address entered on the order is not correct, incomplete or non existing.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Postage and packaging is calculated by weight and fall within the following weight bands and their relevant charges.

1- We have two options for shipping within Ireland and Northern Ireland: Non Registered Mail and Registered mail.

1.1* we ship with the normal postal rate, non registered and we are not responsible if the envelope /packet does not arrive. We recommend you choose the registered option. If you choose standard shipping, we take no responsibility for the package or envelop loss. By choosing standard shipping, you accept to bear all risks.

2- in some cases, we may accept to ship to countries outside of Ireland with registered shipping option at checkout for traceability and insurance purpose.

Once your payment has been received, you will get an acknowledgement email. Please Note : goods remain our property until they have left our facilities and we reserve the right to cancel the order. 

In general, we aim to dispatch orders twice a week, generally on the Tuesday and Thursday unless there is a public holiday or we have a backlog of orders. In the summer, we may ship once a week, Please note that the shipping days may change depending on the volume of orders we have at a specific time. If we fail to dispatch your order as planned in a timely manner, we will endeavour as much as possible to keep you informed and will update you with the accurate shipping date. During our vacations, the shipments will resume on our return.

If we ourselves are not able to dispatch your seeds or goods within 20 days of the date of your order, we shall notify you by e-mail to arrange a later date for delivery or give you the option to cancel your order.

We will send you a message by email to tell you when we have dispatched your order.

Deliveries will be made by post. All orders are sent via regular mail, using the post office system. Unless you specifically ask for it and pay for it, we do not ship registered mail in Ireland. For the rest of European countries, we offer only a registered mail option. 

99.99% of the time, there are no issues involved in fulfilling orders by non-registered post. However, as a small company operating under extremely tight margins, we just cannot afford to absorb losses over which we have no control. If you are concerned about mail service to your address, we recommend you use the Registered Post option which is is available for you to purchase during the checkout process.

We may deliver the Seeds or Goods in instalments if they are not all available at the same time for delivery. For some countries, we may reach out to the customer to discuss shipment requirements.
