Refund policy

Returns

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@sowdiverse.ie. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

In the event your return is accepted, Seeds should be returned:

1. with both Seeds or Goods and all packaging as far as possible in their original condition;

2.securely wrapped;

3. including our return shipping label;

4. at your risk and cost.

For orders outside of the Republic of Ireland, we do not offer refund for damaged or lost, missing package/envelope unless it was shipped by registered post/mail. We strongly recommend to our customers to choose the registered option for tracking and insurance purposes. Please note, depending on the destination, your packet can take up to a month to arrive. For certain countries. we will not be able to ship or honor the registered option. Please contact us though our "contact us" page on our website.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. In case of damage or issues based on photographic evidence, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the order. We will either replace or only refund the cost of the seeds excluding shipping costs. We will ask for proof of damages and issues before we decide to issue any refund or replacement. We will ask for the proof of damages to be returned to us. Passed the 14 days after receiving the order, we will not accept any damage or issues claims. 

Regarding claims about germination issues, even though all our seeds have been germination tested before sale, we will test the seeds again before deciding to issue any replacement or refund. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

We do not offer refund for lost package/envelope unless it was shipped by registered post/mail. 


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds for returns
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Refunds
In some cases, we may at our discretion issue a refund it the item was not shipped registered. In that instance, if we decide to do so, we will only refund the cost of the seeds but not the shipping.

We will not issue refund if the customer has entered the wrong address or postcode. It is the responsibility of the customer to enter the correct address for shipping.
