About Sow Diverse
Sow Diverse is a Cork-based not-for-profit social enterprise and community seed project working to protect seed diversity, food sovereignty, and the right of people to grow, save, and share their own food.
We support open-pollinated, heritage, and locally adapted seeds as part of a broader commitment to biodiversity, climate resilience, and community-controlled food systems. Our work includes seed saving, education, public talks, workshops, and making diverse seeds and plants locally accessible to growers.
Sow Diverse exists to challenge the industrial model of agriculture and to help rebuild food systems rooted in cooperation, resilience, and care for the land.
Because when we protect seeds and plants, we protect freedom.
