Blanche des Vosges carrot is a heirloom variety of white carrot from the Vosges region of France dating from the Mid 19th century. The Blanche des Vosges carrot variety produces a white triangular carrot root with white flesh. When picked young, this carrot is suitable to eat as a vegetable. Alternatively it can be left on the ground to be used as fodder for animals when the root gets larger and mature. It does well in storage.

Sowing and cultivation: Sow seeds outdoors 3-4 weeks before last frost. Lightly cover. Keep soil moist. Succession sowing will ensure a constant harvest throughout the season. It keeps well when harvested.
