Formanova Cylindra is a Danish Heirloom producing a large cylinder shaped beetroot, dark-red with red foliage, sweet with earthy caramel taste. Also know as "Butter Slicer" because of its wonderful tender texture. Grows quite long, up to 20 cm, and have most of their growth well above ground making it easy to harvest. Stores well once harvested. Great taste in salad or roasted.
