Touchon Carrot is a French heirloom variety first publicly listed at the end of the 19th century. This spring variety of carrot produces straight, half-long roots without a core. Its firm flesh is renowned for its exceptional taste. This carrot is great eaten fresh, glazed, roasted or added to soups or stews.

Sunlight: Full sun-partial shade

Soil requirement: rich and light

Sowing and cultivation: Sow seed indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost or directly outside in full sun once soil temps are above 15 C. Keep moist. Germination may be slow. Thin to 5-8 cm apart. Harvest when size is about 15-20 cm long
