French heirloom variety from the region of Rennes in France. This early season melons are a type of cantaloupe discovered in France in the 17th century, valued for their sweet and tender flesh. Petit Gris de Rennes melons mature in approximately 80 to 85 days, and each plant produces 3 to 4 fruits. The small round fruit weight on average 1 kg and the flesh is orange, very sweet, superbly tasty and dense. This melon variety is ideal for short growing seasons. This will make a fabulous refreshing dessert in the summer.
