Purple calabash is a Heirloom tomato, indeterminate type and late tomato variety. The regular leaf plant produces superb small to medium flattened, ribbed shape fruits that have a dark purple to violet color and weigh from 50 to 150 g. Very unique and intense flavor, almost tasting like wine with a citrus finish. Cycle of 85 days. The Purple Calabash tomato flesh is dense and sweet with a very fragrant flavor. It tends to become soft when ripe.
