Hesperis Matronalis also called Sweet Rocket or Dame's Rocket is a bushy plant, very rustic, with an incredible scent similar to violet, or some will say, jasmine. It gives a multitude of flowers with pink, mauve or fushia petals, whose sweet scent spreads at dusk. It is loved by pollinators. Dame's rocket is edible as it is a member of the Brassicaceae family of plants, which includes rocket, broccoli, and mustard however the plants need to be controlled in the garden as it can be invasive if left to spread.
