Strawberry Alpine Strawberry "White Soul"

A creamy strawberry with a superior taste

"White Soul" Alpine strawberry is an unusual strawberry variety producing creamy white fruit with a very good taste. A must have for gourmet gardeners. Very productive variety that is mainly June bearing. Fabulous in fruit salads or simply eaten as is. Why not try it in a daiquiri cocktail, or a strawberry cheesecake. Please note Alpine strawberry seeds are challenging to germinate.

Soil requirement: fertile, moist but well-drained soil

 Sowing and cultivation: Require Cold stratification to improve the germination rate of strawberry seeds. Sow from February to March in seed trays and lightly cover to hide seed. Keep moist and semi-shady. When plants grow second set of true leaves, thin them or replant them in separate pots. When large enough to plant out, introduce them to the outdoors gradually.
