Gogoshari Striped is a traditional variety from Minsk, Belarus, introduced in the US in 2002 and then catalogued into the Seed Savers Exchange Yearbook by Neil Lockhart. This indeterminate variety is suitable for cordon style training and will grow well on a trellis. The fruits have a distinctive pepper-like lobbed or cubic shape typically with 3 lobes. These striking tomatoes are bi-colored (striped) with a rich red with yellow to golden orange stripes and a shiny waxy sheen. The thick flesh with hollow cavities and an easy to remove gel with few seeds make this tomato an excellent candidate for stuffing tomatoes. This tomato is also suitable for drying. We find this variety to.be quite productive and we love the fruit originality. Amateur Seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland, not certified for commercial use.
