A cheerful purple dwarf tomato
Dwarf Black Angus is a mid to mid-late season regular leaf dwarf that produces very good yields of smooth oblate purple fruit with a rich, well-balanced flavor and weighing up to 340g. This variety was created by Patrina Nuske Small by crossing Summertime Green with Sweet Adelaide in 2013. Craig LeHoullier then selected and named Dwarf Black Angus in honor of his father in law, Harry Angus. This variety has been pledged to the OSSI (Open Source Seed Initiative).
The OSSI is working to maintain fair and open access to plant genetic diversity worldwide and ensuring freedom to use these resources for farmers, gardeners, breeders, and communities of this and future generations. Free the Seed!
