Vezena Piperka Chilli pepper, also known as the Rezha Macedonian pepper or the embroidered pepper is a rare and stunning heirloom variety from Macedonia. It tastes fabulous with a heat level ranging from 1200 to 5000 SHU. This pepper particularity is that it has prominent tan lines all across the flesh called ‘corking, Despite its striking appearance, we find that the striated skin, almost leathery does not make it ideal to eat as is. Therefore this very ornamental pepper should be consumed either dried and ground or cooked. Amateur Seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland, not certified for commercial use.
