Palestinian okra is a heirloom variety from Palestine. The okra plant produces light green pods, hairy, short and fat,. The Palestinian okra are best picked very young, as the okra hardens as it matures and the seeds inside grow too large to eat.  At maturity, the pods color changes from light green to beige. We advise to wear gloves when harvesting the okra and to avoid brushing against the plants as the small  hairs can cause skin irritation. We can only offer one packet per order. Amateur seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland, not for commercial use,

Sowing and cultivation: Start indoors 4-5 weeks before last frost. Sow 1/2" deep. Keep soil temperature above 24C. .Space plants 12-18" apart.
