The Italian tomato heirloom for a wonderful yellow tomato sauce

San Marzano Yellow tomato is a Italian variety that comes straight from the lineage of the San Marzano tomatoes. The San Marzano Yellow plants produce an abundance of elongated plum-shaped tomatoes with a distinct nipple at the end. The fruits are truly beautiful and go through various stages of ripeness, from light green to various levels of yellow at different times, offering a striking and long lasting display of colours on the plants. This productive and late-maturing variety is a must have for the gourmet cook and gardener, for its delicious and old fashioned tomato flavour, particularly if you are into making your own tomato paste. We have turned these tomatoes into a fabulous yellow tomato sauce. Highly recommended. Amateur seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland, and not for commercial use.
