A great container tomato

Loxton Lad originates from a cross between Rosella Purple and Orange Heirloom made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2009 named Rosy F1. The name Loxton derives from the town of that name in the riverland citrus growing region of Southern Australia. Loxton Lad Dwarf tomato is is a mid-season rugose regular leaf dwarf producing large smooth oblate orange fruit weighing over 200 g, meaty and juicy. The plants  reach about 1 m and have sturdy stems and abundant rugose foliage requiring support.  The Loxton lad dwarf tomato has been selected and named by Patrina and appeared in an early generation of Loxton Lass, being larger with similar taste but less sweetness than Loxton Lass.
