The Helsing Junction Blue tomato is another creation by Tom Wagner named after the Helsing Junction Farm in the Chehalis River Valley in the state of Washington in the US. The mid-season cherry tomatoes are rich in anthocyanin and the gel inside the tomato darkens to a deep crimson blue when they are ripe. The leaves of the Helsing Junction Blue plants are naturally curly to allow the light to penetrate. The cherry tomato fruits are very sweet with hints of acidity. Great in salads or eaten as is.
