A simple burst of happiness...

A tomato with a story: Last year we were entrusted with seeds of the Dr Carolyn Pink tomato, a rare variety not often listed with the mission of keeping it alive. We cannot thank enough Nicky Kyle, founder of the Totally Terrific Tomato Festival, strong advocate of tomato genetic diversity preservation and blogger of Nicky Kyle gardening for sharing the seeds with us. Nicky got the seeds in 2012 when she founded the festival. The Dr Carolyn Pink even got mentioned in an article by Fionnuala Fallon in the Irish Times: https://www.irishtimes.com/life-and-style/homes-and-property/2.770/reds-from-russia-with-love-1.543223. We are happy to report that the seeds we got from Nicky had a germination rate of 100% and the indeterminate plants are producing good yields of these medium to cherry size pink tomatoes, with firm flesh, very few seeds and excellent taste. It would have indeed been a shame to loose this variety.
