Mammoth Melting is a heirloom sugar pea variety, sometimes described as snow pea, that grows over 2 m tall and produces light green pea pods with 6 to 8 peas inside. This prolific sugar pea variety has excellent flavour and will start producing between 55 to 65 days and is best picked young. The peas will need to have a strong trellis. Please note this variety is susceptible to pea weevil attacks so will need to be watched closely. Seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland.
