A compact beautiful yellow tomato from the Dwarf tomato series

Dwarf Lemon Ice is a compact mid-season regular leaf dwarf tomato from the DWARF TOMATO PROJECT producing abundant small to medium 100-150 g bright lemon-yellow heart shaped tomatoes with paler yellow dense flesh. The flesh is delicious, dense with sweet flavours. Dwarf Lemon Ice originated from a cross between Anna Banana Russian and Roza Vetrov made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2007 named Nosey. Great for container growing. This variety has been pledged to the OSSI (Open Source Seed Initiative) in 2017.

Germination time in days: 7-14 days

Indicative Days to maturity: 80-120 days

Sunlight: Full Sun

Soil requirement: Well drained and rich

Sowing and cultivation: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost.Sow seed in a propagator from March in warmth. Keep small plants in a sunny, frost-free environment until they can be planted in the greenhouse from late April or outdoors in late May. Leave 50 cm distance between plants.
