Sweet Scarlet Dwarf tomato is another variety of the Dwarf Tomato Project. It is a potato leaf dwarf variety that yields medium to medium large oblate-shaped fruit with a vibrant scarlet red color when ripe. Its flavor boasts a perfect balance and intense, delicious taste. Sweet Scarlet Dwarf tomato originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between Golden Dwarf Champion and Elbe and named Tipsy. Sweet Scarlet Dwarf was selected and named by Craig LeHoullier. Seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland. This variety has been pledged to the OSSI (Open Source Seed Initiative).

Sowing and cultivation: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Sow seed in a propagator from March in warmth. Keep small plants in a sunny, frost-free environment until they can be planted in the greenhouse from late April or outdoors in late May. Leave 50 cm distance between plants.
