The Dwarf Tomato Project is the brain child of Craig Le Houllier and Patrina Nuske.  It is a community-driven initiative whose goal was to create a selection of tomato tastes, colours and sizes that would equal heirloom tomato varieties with plants having an advantage of being  more compact and therefore more manageable. The Dwarf tomatoes are great for growing in containers, balconies and any small space. They would be fabulous for any urban garden. The Dwarf Tomato Project has already released more than 100 varieties with more varieties being released every year. All the Dwarf tomato varieties have been pledged to the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI).
