Zou Pi chilli pepper is an exciting pepper variety from East Asia that is also known as Shar Pei for its wrinkly pods. It goes from green to a vivid red when ripe. It has a unique shape with a thin skin and unusual smoky and fruity flavor with a good bit of spiciness. It was surely one of the stars of our growing season for its earliness and uniqueness.
