A heirloom black turnip for gourmets

Navet Noir Long de Caluire turnip is a rare French heirloom turnip with striking black-skinned, elongated roots. Originally from the Lyon region, this variety is hardy and quick growing and known for its dark blacks skin and firm, fine-textured white flesh. Navet Noir Long de Caluire has a rich, slightly spicy yet sweet flavor reminiscent of radish but smoother and less pungent. This black turnip root is long and slender and can reach 20 cm.  It is a fantastic choice for gourmet cooking and historical gardening, offering both visual appeal and excellent taste. It is suitable for both spring and autumn sowing.
