A classic heirloom cooking tomato from Italy
The Costoluto Genovese Tomato is an Italian Heirloom tomato from Genoa. This tomato is loved by chefs and gourmets alike and has been praised for its intense and robust tomato flavor, its beauty and productivity. The Costoluto Genovese variety produces light to dark red beefsteak tomatoes, heavily ribbed and slightly flattened, with an indeterminate habit and is best grown in polytunnel. This meaty tomato is ideal for sandwiches, sauces and salads. The indeterminate vines have been producing good yields of yummy, tender, juicy rich red tomatoes, highly aromatic with an intense and tangy flavor. The flavor is decadently delicious.
