Dorenia tomato is an original cross between Matina and Quadro that gave birth to a very productive tomato variety bred by Christoph Matthes in Germany. The stalks can grow over 2 metres and they yield a fabulous amount of red, medium-sized oval fruits averaging 70g. The taste is very well balanced with the right sweetness to acidity ratio. We grew it inside the polytunnel however it is said to resist the outdoors Irish conditions. We are amazed at the productivity and the resistance of this variety to diseases and we believe this is a must have in any garden. Seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland.
