Kohlrabi Early White Vienna is an heirloom variety of kohlrabi, Quick growing, this old variety produces a pale green skin bulb with a white inner flesh, of good quality and mild taste, quite hardy and does well in cool weather. The leaves can also be consumed when young and tender. The bulb is great eaten raw or cooked.

Sunlight: Full Sun or partial shade

Soil requirement: moist, rich, loam

Sowing and cultivation: Sow seeds directly in the garden after the last frost, or plant in Autumn with enough time to harvest before the first frost. Sow seeds 2.5 cm-3 cm deep deep into the soil with 2.5 cm spacing. For row planting, space the rows 30 cm apart. Thin after true leaves develop and transplant out with 20 cm spacing between plants.
