Verbascum densiflorum also known as Denseflower Mullein is a biennial or semi-evergreen perennial that forms leafy rosettes covered in dense, grayish-yellow hairs. Its stems are erect and produce a profusion of saucer-shaped flowers in shades of yellow, white, brownish-red, or purple. The dense-flowered mullein flowers are numerous and short-lived, blooming over an extended period of time. During the summer, this plant produces bright-yellow or occasionally white blossoms on tall, branching stalks that can reach up to 5 feet in height. Mullein has been used for centuries in herbal medicine. Its flowers and leaves are said to have beneficial properties. Please note there are multiple species of Mullein. Please always consult a health professional or qualified herbalist before using this plant medicinally.
