Cisineros Grande Tomatillo is a variety of tomatillo that produces large green fruits, ranging in size from a small green lime to a small apple and mostly ripen to yellow while some may stay green. This variety is highly productive. If you are using it for a salsa and you are looking for the tart flavor, use it while still green. If you are after the fruity taste, use it when the husk has dried out.
