Omar's Lebanese tomato is a heirloom tomato said to originate from Lebanon. It was introduced in the US in 1996 by Carolyn Male who obtained the seed from a Lebanese person called Omar Saab and whose family had been growing this tomato when they moved to the US. The Omar's Lebanese tomato is a vigorous regular leaf variety, indeterminate that produces large, 1-2 lbs. to 3lbs., pink, and irregularly-shaped beefsteak tomatoes.

Soil requirement: Well drained and rich

Sowing and cultivation: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Sow seed in a propagator from March in warmth. Keep small plants in a sunny, frost-free environment until they can be planted in the greenhouse from late April or outdoors in late May.
