Yukon Quest is another production of the Dwarf Tomato Project. it is a regular leaf dwarf variety that produces oblate medium sized fruit that ripen to a crimson pink hue. The flavor is well balanced and sweet, and the variety is quite prolific. It originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between Budai Torpe and Black from Tula, named Grumpy. Yukon Quest was selected and named by Susan Bailey.

This variety has been pledged to the OSSI (Open Source Seed Initiative) in 2017.

Optimal Germination Temperature: 21-29°C

Germination time in days: 7-14 day

Indicative Days to maturity: 80-120 days

Sunlight: Full sun

Soil requirement: well draining and rich

Sowing and cultivation: Sow in pots from March, at a temperature between 16 and 20°C, under a well-lit shelter, 5 weeks before planting. Transplant the entire root ball in the ground, after the last frosts, at a minimum distance of 50 cm, burying the stem up to the first leaves. Water thoroughly when planting.
