A French heirloom Cabbage that can be harvested early

Early Saint Jean Savoy Cabbage is an early cabbage variety with a medium sized compact head, a conical shape and with blistered blond green leaves, surrounded only by a few rounded leaves. Do not harvest the head too big if you want to make the most of the wonderful texture of this cabbage.

Soil requirement: rich and well drained

Sowing and cultivation: Sow seeds 1-2 cm deep in regular compost indoor from the beginning of March to May and place in a propagator or a sunny window sill. Transplant when large enough to handle after the last chance of frost has passed
