This lettuce forms a small to medium compact head weighing approximately 90 - 120g, with green leaves tinged with red or burgundy, especially around the outer foliage. The inner leaves remain pale‑green. The Lettuce Baquieu has a wonderful crisp and crunchy texture with a mild, pleasant flavor.
