Queen of Malinalco is a high yielding heirloom tomatillo variety from the town of Malinalco in Mexico. It produces elongated and cone-shaped fruits that ripen to bright yellow and taste much sweeter than any other tomatillos we know of. The Queen of Malinalco tomatillo not only stuns by its unusual appearance but tastes also like a bit like a mix between an exotic fruit and a physalis. The plants grow quite tall with multiple stems and will need support. This tomatillo is excellent in salads or in a sweeter and fruiter salsa verde. Seeds grown and seed saved in Cork, Ireland.
