The Wild Garden Kale Mix Ruso Siberian Kale is another variety developed by Wild Garden seeds and pledged to the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI). It originates from a cross between ‘Red Russian’ and ‘Siberian’ from 1984. This kale mix is to be sown in mid-July-Aug and will produce good yields of leaves and “napini” of various shapes and colors. Picture for illustration only. Sowing and cultivation: Sow seeds 1-2 cm deep in regular compost indoor from the beginning of July to end of August and place in a propagator or a sunny window sill. Alternatively sow from Mid February indoors and Transplant when large enough to handle. Protect from frost.
