Siam queen thai basil is an annual plant, 30-40 cm high, with aromatic, decorative, apical leaves and inflorescences of purple color. The flowering period falls from June to September, when the upper parts of the shoots are harvested. Grown as a medicinal, spice plant, but also decorative on flowerbeds, in boxes and containers. Fresh leaves can be added to pickling cucumbers, salads, sauces, casseroles, roasted meats and fish. Due to the strong aroma use in small quantities.

Indicative Days to maturity: 30-50 days
