Summer savory is a bushy annual that grows to 25 cm tall. Its narrow lance shaped leaves are very aromatic. In the summer its beautiful white flowers attract pollinators. Commonly used in the kitchen as a flavouring herb for its intense flavour.

Sowing and cultivation: Sow directly outdoors after last chance of frost has passed from May to August into well prepared soil in a sunny spot when temperatures reach around 16C. Sow seeds thinly into drills 1 cm deep and 38 cm apart.
