Calabrese Green Sprouting Broccoli is a heirloom broccoli variety from the South of Italy that produces a large green head. When the head is cut at the base without damaging the plant, the broccoli plant will keep producing new side shoots with tender smaller florets. This variety is ideal for sowing in summer and harvested in autumn and winter. For optimal crop yield, the florets should be regularly cut to stimulate continuous production.
