This vigorous bush bean variety produces an abundance of green pods with white kidney shaped beans. These cannellini beans have an excellent texture for stews, soups and casseroles and are loved by chefs for their smooth, rich and nutty flavor. Cannellini beans can be picked young as fresh beans however are best used as a dry shell bean and tend to run, so a sturdy support will increase production. Does well in cool weather.
