The Verde Da Taglio swiss chard is an Italian mid-season chard variety with dark green leaves  and white stalks. The leaves are used cooked, in soups or like spinach. The leaves of this variety can be cut and grow again.

 Sunlight: Full sun

Soil requirement: Rich and well drained

Sowing and cultivation: Sow under cover from February to March. Alternatively direct sow outdoors from April to September. 3 to 4 seeds every 40 cm on the row, in a row 40 cm apart. When the plants have a few leaves, keep only the strongest ones. Frequent watering is required.
