A classic heirloom cooking tomato from Italy 

Costoluto Fiorentino is a light red, slightly flattened, ribbed beefsteak tomato, with an indeterminate habit, best grown in polytunnel. The "Costoluto Fiorentino" tomato is meaty making ideal for sandwiches and salads. The Costoluto fiorentino is s classic heirloom cooking tomato from Italy with very good flavour, especially cooked.

Plant Life Cycle: annual

Optimal Germination Temperature: 24C-28C

Germination time in days: 7-14 days

Indicative Days to maturity: 80-120 days

Sunlight: Full Sun

Soil requirement: Well drained and rich

Sowing and cultivation: Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost at a 1.5 mm depth. Transplant out after last frost when soil temperature is a 21 C. Space 60-90 cm apart. Indeterminate variety that will need staking.
