Cuostrale tomato is a French heirloom tomato with the rich flavour of old tomatoes! The Cuostrale Tomato or Coustralée is an indeterminate beefsteak tomato variety of about 10cm diameter and weighing up to 800 grams! This beautifully red tomato is slightly flattened and ribbed on the shoulders with a dense meaty flesh. The flavor is rich and intense and lends itself well to slicing for salads, burgers or grilling! Seeds grown and seeds saved in Cork, Ireland.

Sowing and cultivation: Sow in pots from March, at a temperature between 16 and 20°C, under a well-lit shelter, 5 weeks before planting. Transplant the entire root ball in the ground, after the last frosts, at a minimum distance of 50 cm, burying the stem up to the first leaves. Water thoroughly when planting.
