Freedom Mix lettuce mix has been created by Frank Morton and obtained by crossing very resistant lettuce varieties with some of his tastiest lettuces. The result combines the most excellent characteristics of these various varieties. This is an OSSI pledged variety. (picture for illustration only). You have the freedom to use these OSSI- Pledged seeds in any way you choose. In return, you pledge not to restrict others’ use of these seeds or their derivatives by patents or other means, and to include this Pledge with any transfer of these seeds or their derivatives.

Optimal Germination Temperature: 4-21°C (Some wont Geminate above 23°C)
Germination time in days: 3-4 days
Indicative Days to maturity: 45-75 days
Sunlight: Full sun
Soil requirement: Moist, well drained
Sowing and cultivation: Sow indoors at a temperature between 10 and 18°C, one month before planting. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil, tamp lightly and water. Once the seedlings have 4 leaves, transplant them out. It is also possible to sow directly in place, in rows from April 30 cm apart, every 15 days for succession planting. Thin out to 10 cm, then to 30 cm.
