It produces large and spherical pink fruit, flattened at both ends, covered with warty looking knobs and can weigh up to 20 kgs. The flesh is orange-yellow, very thick, super sweet and of excellent quality. The Galeux d'Eysines is excellent in soups as it makes for an exquisite velvety texture.
